Joy Kamikazi is a 28-year-old entrepreneur. She has worked in translations and transcriptions for 10 years and now heads a registered company with a team of five people. She predominately partners with nonprofits and in 2016, started working with Youth Development Labs (YLabs). YLabs conducts a co-design workshop exploring methods to connect young Rwandan entrepreneurs and unemployed youth. Participants representing each group divide into focus groups. They then come up with creative ideas and solutions, create mock business plans and initiatives, and challenge the functionality of each other's proposals.
