Description
A teacher uses interactive tools to explain reproductive health systems to a classroom of unmarried adolescent girls. The girls are learning about the placement of reproductive organs in the body through a labeled apron. Discussion of issues related to sexual health is taboo, so adolescent girls from marginalized communities have limited or no access to information. These trainings, organized by Pathfinder International, provide girls from the economically and socially marginalized Mahadalit community with accurate information, enabling them to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health.
