Rekik, pictured here at the Talent Youth Association (TaYA) office, is a fifth-year engineering student at Addis Ababa University. For the past two years, she has been a member of the Ethiopian Youth Council for Higher Opportunities under TaYA. The experience has helped her build her self-confidence and professional skills, and she provides advocacy and leadership training for her peers. TaYA, a nonprofit, is a project-implementing partner of the Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD). YNSD leads the Youth Challenge Initiative, which aims to increase young people's access to sexual and reproductive health information and services. It also strives to meaningfully engage young people in its work and elevate the capacity of selected youth-led organizations.
